Timing guide: 10 minutes

Learning guide

The day we realised melting chocolate can be turned into a science lesson was a good day. Use this recipe as a way to help children understand how solids can become liquids – can your little one predict what will happen to the chocolate as it heats up? What about when you put the chocolate apples in the fridge? Kids will love the sensory experience of dipping the apples and sprinkling on their chosen toppings too.
