DIY Easter bonnet that's wooly cute!

Is there anything more adorable than lambs at springtime? This fluffy sheep bonnet is quick and easy to make, and the cotton wool is a fun texture for little hands to play with too.

If you've got some cotton wool left over, have a go at this sheep card craft – which you and your child can make together for a family member or friend.


You'll need:

  • A hat
  • White tissue paper
  • Scissors
  • Cotton wool
  • Black card
  • White paper
  • Glue
  • Tape

How to make this sheep bonnet

Step 1

Cover the crown of the hat with white tissue paper and glue it in place.

Step 2

Now your child can have fun covering the tissue paper with cotton wool. A glue stick will keep it in place.

Step 3

Now your child can have fun covering the tissue paper with cotton wool. A glue stick will keep it in place.

Step 4

Draw the shape of the sheep’s face on the black card and cut it out.

Step 5

Help your child to cut two little eyes out of white paper and draw a pupil on each one.

Step 6

Glue the eyes onto the face, and stick the face on to the hat.
