FANTASTICAL IDEAS FOR SHREK FANS

The summer holidays are approaching (scared face!) When they do arrive, it’s always good to have a few cheap days out up our sleeves to stop everyone killing each other help us bond as a family! Look out for special offers in our magazines over the coming months for an assortment of Kids Go Free offers — we’ll be flagging them up here too. This week CBeebies, CBeebies Art, CBeebies Special and Toybox magazines have a Kids Go Free offer to top UK attractions including, Shrek’s Adventure! London.

To get us in the mood, here are three ideas for all mini monsters.

1. Beware ogre Get them to draw and colour a monstrous sign for their door. They choose the message and you help them write it. It could be, Keep out/Welcome to my swamp!/Beware the wild thing! Anything goes.

2. Create Gingy. Add gingerbread men and icing pens to your next shop. Then get them set up so they can decorate a gingerbread family.

3. Make mud pies OK, this one is messy, but at least it’s outside. They use bowls, spoons, spatulas and mud to make an ogre’s dinner. You hose down everything (including them) afterwards.
