So tonight we are throwing a Love Island party ?
Not only is it the perfect excuse to drink on a Monday, it also means a Barbie and major bants. The kids will love helping, even if we can never show them the programme itself.
1 Welcome to Love Island Write a sign to welcome your guests, and give your small people the task of covering it in hearts and glitter. Bless.
2 The drinks While you dig out the spirits, the kids can prepare special drinking vessels, aka, mugs. If you have white ones, give them coloured markers to decorate (with more hearts).
3 Pool party! Fill your garden or living room with inflatable pool toys — giant doughnuts, flamingos, anything goes. Your children will think it’s the best day ever!
4 Rap battle A Love Island party is going to need a rap battle, so stick Stormzy on Spotify and get down to it. The little ones can rap along to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
PS We LOVE Hurrah for Gin’s Love Island in stick people form.
