Mindfulness with kids may sound like a bit of a joke, but bear with us.
At best, you and your children will reach a Zen-like state, at second-best, you’ll have killed five minutes and wine o’clock will be that much closer.
1) Bee breathing Put your fingers in your ears, breathe in deeply through your nose, then breathe out and hum the letter Mmm…
2) Tummy Balloon Breathe in through your nose, feeling your tummy expand like a balloon. Breathe out through your nose and watch your tummies go down again.
3) Breathing cup Cup your hands in front of your chest. Breathe in through your nose then blow out through your mouth and fill the cup with as much air as you can in one breath.
